At GalaxyOne, protecting your assets and personal information is our top priority. Unfortunately, scams targeting investors are becoming more common across the financial industry — especially those involving cryptocurrency, online relationships, or “investment opportunities” that sound too good to be true.

We want to help you recognize the warning signs and keep your account safe.

    Common Scam Scenarios

Below are some of the most frequent types of scams we’ve seen:

    1. Romance or Relationship Scams
A scammer builds trust through online communication or dating apps, then encourages you to transfer money or crypto to “invest together” or “help with an emergency.” These are among the most common and costly scams targeting adults of all ages.

    2. Investment or Trading Scams
Fraudsters may promise guaranteed returns or insider access to high-yield investment platforms. They’ll often ask you to buy crypto and send it to an external wallet. Once sent, the funds are typically unrecoverable.

    3. Impersonation or “Tech Support” Scams
Scammers may pretend to be from GalaxyOne, a government agency, or another financial institution. They may ask for your account credentials, verification codes, or to “verify your identity” over the phone or text.

    4. Elder Financial Abuse
Sometimes, bad actors take advantage of older adults by posing as trusted friends, relatives, or advisors. Any unexpected requests for money or account access should be treated with caution.

    How to Protect Yourself

    • Never share your GalaxyOne login, password, or 2FA code with anyone — not even someone claiming to be from GalaxyOne.

    • Be cautious of anyone asking you to move money or crypto to a “safe” or “temporary” wallet.

    • Verify any communication that seems unusual. If you receive a message, call, or email that doesn’t seem right, contact us directly through the GalaxyOne app or support@galaxy.app.

    • Review all transactions carefully before confirming. Crypto transactions cannot be reversed once sent.

    • Use unique, strong passwords and keep your device software up to date.

If You Think You May Have Been Targeted

If you believe your account may have been compromised or you’ve sent funds as part of a potential scam, contact us immediately at support@galaxy.app or by phone at 855-955-1012.

We’ll help secure your account, review recent activity, and guide you through the next steps.

    Remember

    GalaxyOne will never:

    • Ask for your password, PIN, or two-factor authentication code.

    • Request that you transfer money or crypto to another wallet or account for “verification” or “security.”

    • Pressure you to act urgently on an investment opportunity.

Staying cautious and informed is the best protection against fraud. If you’re ever unsure, please reach out — we’re here to help.
