Why isn't my linked account showing up when I try to fund via ACH?
Some financial institutions — particularly brokerage firms — offer cash management accounts with checking features. These are structured differently from traditional bank checking accounts.
Because of this:
- The account can still connect successfully and will appear under Connected Accounts.
- The account information needed for ACH funding may not be available through that connection.
- As a result, the account won't appear in the From dropdown when you try to fund your account.
Example: Fidelity's Cash Management Account is a common case of this.
Your options to fund GalaxyOne:
- Link your GalaxyOne account on the other platform's end, and push an ACH transfer from that institution to GalaxyOne.
- Send a wire transfer to your GalaxyOne account.
- Link a standard checking or savings account from another financial institution for ACH funding.
