How do I make an IRA contribution?

You can make a contribution to your Traditional or Roth IRA directly from the GalaxyOne app by following the steps below.

1. From the Invest section, click into your Traditional or Roth IRA.
2. Click Fund.
3. Enter your contribution amount and click Review.
4. Complete the funding process.

Once submitted, your funds typically settle within 5 business days. During this time, you may notice the funds removed from your cash balance — this is expected and simply reflects that your contribution is in progress. Once the contribution has been fully credited to your IRA, funds will be available for trading after 2 business days.
