How long do outbound wire transfers take?

Wires submitted before 4 PM ET on a business day are typically processed the same day. Wires submitted after 4 PM ET, on weekends, or on Federal Reserve holidays are processed the next available business day. 

Once sent, funds are generally credited to the recipient's bank the same day. Exact timing depends on the receiving institution.
