How do staking rewards work?

Staking rewards are earned for helping support the Solana network. Rewards are variable, depend on network conditions, and are not guaranteed.

How rewards are earned

Rewards begin accruing once your SOL is actively staked. Reward rates may change over time based on network activity, and any estimated rates shown in the app are for informational purposes only.

When rewards are paid

Rewards accrue and compound automatically while your SOL remains staked, and you can view your accrued rewards in your account at any time. Rewards stop accruing when you submit an unstake request, and accrued rewards are reflected in your returned balance once unstaking is complete.

What to expect

To access your rewards and principal, you'll need to unstake your SOL first. Unstaking typically takes 1–3 days, and reward amounts may vary based on network conditions.
