What documents do I need to provide to open a corporate account?
Document requirements vary by entity type, but all corporate accounts must provide information that confirms formation, ownership, and authority.
Commonly required documents include:
- Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization, or equivalent formation documents
- Operating Agreement, Shareholder Agreement, Partnership Agreement, or Trust Agreement
- EIN confirmation (IRS CP 575 or equivalent)
- Authorization documents (e.g., corporate resolution or manager authorization letter)
- Ownership records (member register, cap table, or equivalent)
- Recent bank statement or financial document, if required for verification
Documents must be clear, legible, and unaltered. PDF and image formats are supported.
Once submitted, documents enter a secure review process. You’ll be notified if additional information is required.
