An ACH return happens when a bank transfer (ACH) is rejected by your financial institution and the funds are sent back. This can occur for reasons such as insufficient funds, incorrect account details, or your bank declining the transaction.

When you initiate a bank (ACH) transfer on GalaxyOne, it typically takes about five business days for your financial institution to confirm that funds are available to leave your account.

    If an ACH return occurs:
    • The ACH transfer to GalaxyOne fails and the funds are pulled back.
    • Any trades you made using those ACH funds will be reversed.
    • Your account may be temporarily locked for 3–5 business days while our teams review the return for security purposes.

    Common Reasons for ACH Returns
    • Insufficient funds in the originating bank account
    • Incorrect routing or account number entered when linking your bank
    • Closed account at the originating bank
    • Stop payment request placed with your bank
    • Account restrictions such as limits on ACH transfers
