Can I link a bank account that is under a different name?

The first and last name on your bank account must match the first and last name on your GalaxyOne account exactly. If they do not match exactly you may not be able to link your bank account. If you are linking a joint bank account you may need to provide a recent bank statement with all of the account holder names clearly listed. 

If you have changed your legal name and need to update the name on your GalaxyOne account please reach out to our Client Services team for assistance. 

What we allow:

• Individual or Joint bank accounts with the exact name of the GalaxyOne client listed
  • ex: Jane Doe's bank account linked to Jane Doe's GalaxyOne account

What we do not allow:

• Business accounts, bank accounts listed in the name of another client or person and not in the name of the client
  • ex: Jane Doe's bank account linked to John Doe's GalaxyOne account
  • ex: Jane Doe's LLC bank account to Jane Doe's individual GalaxyOne account
  • ex: J. Doe's bank account to Jane Doe's GalaxyOne account
